This episode builds upon the first and continues the development of investing in the stock market for newbies.  Last episode, we generally defined exchanges, markets, and stocks.  And explained how stock investing works.  In this episode, we expand our knowledge by learning how to read stock charts and stock quotes.  The goal is for beginners to look at a stock quote and have a basic understanding of what the numbers mean.    

By popular demand, I'm providing an intro to the stock market geared toward the guys who have absolutely no idea where to start.  The goal of this episode is for you to pick the app of your choice, load some money on it, dome some personal research, and then get ready for a discussion on stock strategy in the next upcoming episode.  I know, there's homework; but what else do you have to do during the quarantine??? 

Here I was thinking that I was educating people on the geo-political situation in Iran, but all anyone cared about was a brief reference to war and making money.  Based on listener demand, I devoted this entire episode to explaining why warfare is so important to the wealthy and how it drives the American economy.  

Two days into his re-election year, Trump - who rails against Middle Eastern entanglements - has plunged the United States into yet another one, with vast and unknown consequences.  By killing Qasem Soleimani, Trump has committed the United States to a risky open conflict that at best could stop short of all-out war with Iran.  And at the least, likely eliminates possibly for a generation, any hope that the United States and Iran can settle their differences through diplomacy.  The question now is whether Trump - an erratic, inexperienced leader who abhors advice and rarely thinks more than one step ahead - is equipped to handle such a perilous crisis.  Until then, Trump is playing with fire in the Middle East...
